Habitat for Humanity Raising Another Structure

ZANESVILLE, Ohio – A local nonprofit is assembling the framework of a future home for another Muskingum County family.
Habitat for Humanity of Southeastern Ohio’s Community Engagement Director Melissa Best described what is taking place here in the community.
“A community that we’re really focused on: Luck Avenue, Cedar, Columbia,” Best said. “And this week we’re doing what we call a blitz-build. So we’re going from subfloor to under-roof in just a couple days. So the house we’re at today, at 235 Luck Avenue, is being built for a single mom. She has four kids, one with special needs and this momma is working hard. She is an amazing Habitat partner. And we’re happy to be building this house, in partnership with her.”
